Keep Green Hammerton Green Action Group

The Keep Green Hammerton Green Action Group, together with its associated Keep Kirk Hammerton Green team, is a voluntary group dedicated to ensuring that, if HBC maintains its commitment to a new settlement as part of its Local plan, due consideration is taken of the many planning grounds for it not being located in the Green Hammerton area.

It has pursued a goal of raising awareness of the plans being formulated by HBC and CEG, to challenge those decisions on planning grounds, to attract media interest in the campaign, and to coordinate public consultation responses that support its goal of stopping the building in the Green and Kirk Hammerton area.
